The contributions of four generations of the Browning family are displayed. (1855 -1926) was a world-celebrated inventor of firearms for hunting, sport, and military use.  Although many of his inventions were manufactured and sold under names such as Winchester, Remington, and Colt, they were designed in Ogden, Utah, and many of the designer's initial models and prototypes are on display in the museum.
Display models include the original Browning Automatic Rifle, mainstay of the U.S. Army through 80 years, as well as the machine guns that protected US vehicles and aircraft.

Displays also include the works of Johnathan, , and Bruce B. Browning (father, son, and grandson). Many of the models are currently manufactured in Belgium by Browning Arms Co. (), headquartered nearby in Mountain Green, Utah.
