With some exceptions, the majority of public programs at Union Station are free and open to the public. Some events may require pre-registration or may only be suitable for adults, but will always be marked as such.

The mission of public programs at the Station is to provide inclusive, interactive, and educational opportunities for visitors and community members as part of their museum experience. These programs include literary readings, lectures, discussion panels, artist talks, workshops, festivals, performances, demonstrations, family art activities, and other special events.
