Continue reading »]]> The Fountain Plaza in front of the Station renovation is underway.  The renovation will begin with the removal of the current granite pavers, which will be moved and installed in the turn arounds on either side of the patio.  These granite blocks are the original cobblestone streets of Ogden and will be returned to use as street pavers in the new location.  The concrete spokes will be removed and recreated with a granite slab close to the hub of the fountain; the new spokes will extend into the turnarounds.  These granite slabs will have test engraved in them.  New tumbled pavers will be installed and the project is set to be complete by May 15, just in time for the Ogden Marathon Expo!

Union Station is giving people the opportunity to have their name engraved on one of the new plaza pavers for $100 each.  The order form is available at this link: Fountain Plaza Paver Order Form pavers form final .
